Meet Mrs. O'DowdI am very excited to meet and know all of our wonderful students and families. My goal for Benignus is to provide a personalized learning environment where “EVERY” student learns at their pace while becoming a forever learner. I grew up in Lufkin, TX and moved to the Klein area in the 7th grade. I attended Hildebrandt and graduated from Klein Oak. After high school, I graduated with my Bachelor and Master degree from Sam Houston State University. I have been in education for 16 years and 7 of them in administration. I started in Aldine ISD where I worked and found my “WHY” for 13 years and then came home to Klein where I have been the past 3 1/2 years. In my free time, I love reading historical fiction books and spending time with my family and friends. I have a wonderful and very supportive husband, Mike, that I have been with since high school. We have three beautiful children, Scarlett (10), Declan (8), and Kian (5). I am looking forward to the best year yet!
