Over the past two years, the USDA made it possible to serve all students free breakfast and lunch through a waiver process. These waivers have not been extended into the 2022-2023 school year, therefore, all students will need to pay for school breakfasts/lunches for the upcoming school year.
Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application
To be eligible for Free or Reduced price school meals, an application must be completed. We encourage ALL FTSD families (regardless of eligibility) to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals since it is also used to determine eligibility for P-EBT benefits, state funding, and other school benefits.
Please be aware, that any students who qualified for Free and Reduced-Price Meals in the 2021-2022 school year will be changed to payment required status as of October 23, 2022 if a new application is not submitted to determine eligibility for the 2022-2023 school year.
