On the TRAIL - for Mustang Families
Jan. 4 (staff work day/no school), Jan. 5 - 8 Term 3 begins
We are MT - MUSTANG STRONG!
Welcome Back and Happy New Year!
Shout out to our SENIORS! Class of 2021! As a mom of a high school senior, I can't believe we are already here but am so excited for the adventures that await this amazing group of seniors! Let's finish strong and help us to help you reach your goals! You are worth it and you can do it!
We are excited to see all of our Mustang students and begin Term 3 on Tuesday, Jan. 5th in a regular Tuesday distance learning schedule at 8am. Monday is a teacher work day (no school for students).
Your teachers should be reaching out or have already to let you know to join their classrooms. If you don’t see anything in your google classroom or in your email, feel free to email your teachers.
See this newsletter for many important dates to make sure our students are successful.
Current 9th, 10th and 11th graders:
January is jam packed with some great information in advocacy and some special events to help our students choose their classes for the 2021-2022 school year.
We will need you paying special attention to what we have to offer you and how to pick your classes this year in a virtual environment.
And as always, we are here for all of our Mustangs! If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to support you.
Cheers to 2021 Mustangs! Let's make it a great one together!

Textbooks, art, ceramics, data, driver's ed, yoga and more - when do I get my materials?
Remember, even if you have a digital book, we encourage you to pick up the hard copy. It is can be easier to use it during live sessions than having multiple windows open on one device (especially a phone).
Term 3: Textbooks and Ceramics, Arts, DATA, Piano/Choir materials, yoga mats, driver's ed pink slips distribution
- We appreciate your patience as we do this as effectively as possible even though there may be lines and a little bit of a wait.
- Please attempt to come during your assigned time to help us keep the wait time down.
- Time slots are assigned by first letter of your last name - NOT by grade level so this should help out families a bit more.
- Please put a sign with your first and last name in the passenger window to help us make this more efficient
- There will be delays if too many miss the correct day and then come on days that are not their alphabet so we appreciate your patience and appreciate you attempting to make your assigned day
Where to go for distribution:
- enter North parking lot from Cliffcrest and Calvine and drive onto campus through bus route onto service road (guided by staff) with stations throughout campus
- Drive and stop at each station needed
- Station A – Schedule pick up - ALL must stop at table (by alpha) and receive schedule with bar code to help staff issue appropriate books and not need an ID and staff will give red ribbon week items to all
- Station B - Ceramics/Art/DATA/driver’s ed pink slip pick up – No getting out of car – student shows schedule and staff hands packet of materials for the appropriate class
- Station C or D - textbooks/piano packets/yoga mats - No getting out of car - show schedule and staff hands out needed items
*If for some reason you still have your books, please return them at the textbook room.
Wellness is important!
We know that as the pandemic continues there are more stressors for our families, students and ourselves.
We want everyone to be well so here are some reminders of resources available in the picture below.
And you can visit our Virtual Community Wellness Center. Students are welcome to schedule meetings with their school counselor when school resumes by accessing the Counseling Website HERE.
Reach out if you need anything.
