Logging into Google Chrome
How to log into Google Chrome
- Open the Chrome browser.
- In the upper right corner click on the 3 horizontal lines.
- Scroll down the list until you see the option "Sign into Chrome..." or "Sync Error: SIgn in again..."
- Sign in with your MJSD username and password if your computer does not automatically begin logging you in.
- Some new tabs will pop up. Feel free to close them. Now you have access to your apps and bookmarks
SMS Generator - Make practice and projects into text conversations
SMS Generator is a free and easy web tool where you can create text message conversations.
This tool could be used to in a foreign language classroom to practice conversational vocabulary or in ELA classrooms for conversations between characters in a book.
Just write conversationally in a text message format
No login needed
Create a project and then save it with a simple password - gives you a specific URL to access the project from
- Can share with a URL link, embed code, QR code or downloadable.

Story Starters and Writing Prompts
Wonderopolis every day has a new 'wonder' that students can give their thoughts on. Sometimes there are videos or write-ups to go along with the 'wonder' for clarification or more background knowledge.
Another tool is the Scholastic Story Starter. Students pick a theme and a grade level and then begin creating their story starter.
Wait?! Where is the Attachment?
This is an automatic tool in your email. So get in the habit of using the phrases above and Google will make sure you never forget an attachment again.
