Gators of the Week - Work hard. Get smart. Do good.

Gators of the Week: Men's Varsity Soccer Defeats Nationally Ranked #1 Wando 1-0

Work hard. In a special night at the Swamp, River Bluff avenged a regular season loss to Wando by defeating them 1-0 in front of a packed crowd Saturday night.

This win marks the third straight year RB has made the upper / lower state championship. They will travel to Socastee High School for the Lower State Championship at 6 PM on Tuesday night. All are encouraged to attend.

What a special night to be a Gator.

Gators of the Week: AP exams continue this week

Get smart: All the best to over 500 students taking over 800 exams this in Advanced Placement courses.

Please see the schedule below for specific dates and times.

Gators of the Week: Students help deliver yearbooks

Do good. This past week when our yearbooks were delivered, Xavier Bright was asked by Mr. Wilbur to come help and he willingly came to help. He worked diligently to deliver these books and did so with a great attitude.

Thank you for doing good this past week.

Long Beach High School, NY Sends Supplies to RBHS

Nike Work Based Learning Center Serves RBHS and SC Flood Victims

The name of the school is the Nike Work-Based Learning Center, an alternative high school setting within the Long Beach Public School District on Long Island. It will be three years ago this coming Thursday when the town of Long Beach was decimated by Hurricane Sandy. Recently, a fried to our Counselor Dr. Vacchio, had kept an eye on my social media presence and on the news, and he had reached out to RB to see how the Nike Center could help with our local flood relief efforts.

The school's administrator Mr. Howard Fuchs, classmate and teammate to Dr. Vacchio, set a goal twofold: for Nike WBL Center to establish and maintain a lasting relationship with RBHS and to help with fundraising and donation efforts in our area. Pictures below show the fruits of this labor. SC and RBHS is eternally indebted to the service of the students at this high school and look forward to a long term relationship.
