Pro-Industrialization
Progression of 1760 to Modern Day
The Industrial Revolution was a pivotal point in the history of the entire world. It began in the early 1700’s in England and quickly spread across all of Europe. There where new inventions, ways of producing goods, and techniques in trade and agriculture that changed the world. It caused major migrations from rural areas to big cities, due to all of the new opportunities that emerged in those areas. The way that people lived and the way businesses run where forever changed during this period of time. Just like a coin, there are two sides to everything. Let’s take a good look at all of the advantages that the Industrial Revolutions brought to the world.
Steam Engine
The steam engine was one of the most important technologies of this time. This Power machine was used for more than just mining, it was used in factories or anywhere in its importance. This also was an important factor because previous to to the steam engine, Britain used water powered machines which lead to many problems. Such as having to be close to water at all times, giving the disadvantage of needing to go anywhere it was needed.
Spinning Jenny
The Spinning Jenny is an multi-spinning frame that weaved in a more efficient way than using manual power. The Spinning Jenny reduced power, time and money. It brought a new meaning to the Industrial Revolution.
coal
The rising demand for coal came from many sources. As the population increased, so did the domestic market, and people in town needed coal because they weren’t near to forests for wood. Steam had an obvious impact on the coal industry in generating vast demand: steam engines needed coal.
Modern Day Usage from the Industrial Revolution
The industrial Revolution was an time of inventions and many changes. Things were changed from old ways, to new. But how did it change the world for the better? The industrial Revolution was the time here the world shifted from the old manual laboring ways of the past, to the new factory and machinery world we live in today. People lived in beautiful houses and farms (some never work a day in their lives) to working in gruesome conditions in a factory.
