Keep Moving Forward
There have been some questions about posting the learning objective (LO) with the TEKS and the demonstration of learning (DOL). Posting the learning objective is an expectation at ESSM. Ideally, prior to beginning your instruction the teacher should introduce the students to what they will be learning--not doing--through the learning objective. The LO tells me what students will learn that day and how students will show that they have learned the posted learning (DOL). I ask that you prominently and legibly post this information in the same place so that students, too, will be able to reference what they are learning. Thank you for your intentionality in communicating the learning that will occur in your classroom.
Stay safe and dry!
