Their economy was based on high-altitude agriculture. They traded potatoes, and they brought advances to agricultural technology.
Compare and Contrast
The Mayan and Aztec both made human sacrifices and farmed beans, squash, and maize. The Inca only traded potatoes and they did not do human sacrifices.
