Snacks
We are needing more healthy snacks sent in from everyone for 2nd quarter. We have 17 students and no allergies. I have included a list of some of their favorite snacks. I do prefer individually wrapped snacks to make it easier to grab and eat. I do have a refrigerator and freezer in my classroom we can put things in. Also, please make sure there are at least 17 because there have been a couple snacks we only have 12 of so have to draw sticks for who gets that one and then the rest choose from our tub of leftovers.
You also have the option to Venmo me $15 and I will go shopping for our class. Sometimes this can also help so I can make sure we get a wide variety of snacks. My Venmo is @hollie-gabriel if you would like to contribute to snack this way. The last 4 of my phone number is 1328 if it asks.
Either way you contribute please have it in by parent/teacher conferences. I'll go shopping after that for our class for those who want to contribute money.
Gogurt (they like it regular or frozen)
Cheese sticks
Granola bars
Peanut butter crackers
Fruit snacks
Pudding cups
Applesauce pouches
Mini Muffins
Pretzels
Graham crackers
Little peanut butter cups to go with apples or graham crackers
We have not had fresh fruit yet this year but in years past apples (I have an apple cutter to cut them up so don't need to get the sliced ones), cutie oranges, and bananas have also been popular.
We also could use some more plastic spoons for snack.
Field Trip - November 6th
We will be going to the Topeka Zoo for a field trip the morning of November 6th. We are going to go to a class called "Untouchables" about various animals, and weather permitting, will walk around the zoo and eat in the park afterwards.
