What We're Working On

October has been a busy month. Our themes for the month were: pumpkins, bats, spiders, and Halloween.

  • On October 16th we visited Montrose Orchard where the students went on a hayride, picked a pumpkin, and ate donuts and cider.
  • October 23rd was Special Olympic Bowling
  • On October 30th we will be Trick or Treating around the school

This month we learned about the life cycle of bats, pumpkins and spiders. We labeled parts of a pumpkin and carved a pumpkin. Some of the students didn't like touching the inside of the pumpkin. We used adjectives to describe the inside and outside of a pumpkin. During Ipad time, we've been using apps that work on rounding numbers and addition/subtraction.
