Important Reminders for Next Week
- Monday, May 25 is Memorial Day: No School and No Grab & Go meal service (families who pick up Grab & Go this Friday, May 22 will have breakfast and lunch for Friday, Monday, and Tuesday).
- Friday, May 29 is the Last Day of School
P-EBT: More Help for Families Who Qualify for Free and Reduced Price Meals
Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020, families that qualify for free or reduced price meals at school may be eligible for a new one-time Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer of up to $302 per child (Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 12) to help cover the cost of meals students have eaten at home on days that schools have been closed. Students can receive this benefit even if they have been or continue to receive Grab & Go meals from Affton School District.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your employment status has changed recently, your family may now qualify for free and reduced meals even if you did not qualify in early March.

Summer School Enrollment Information
Free Meals for Students Will Continue Through June
CURRENT MEAL PICKUP WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 11:30 AM TO 12:30 PM THIS FRI., MAY 22; WED., MAY 27; AND FRI., MAY 29. (NO GRAB & GO ON MON., MAY 25 DUE TO MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY.)
Service Times: Beginning Monday, June 1: Monday & Wednesday from 11:30am - 12:30pm
Meal Types: Packaged breakfast and lunch will be served. Each day of meals will include breakfast and lunch: Monday (2 days of meals); Wednesday (3 days of meals).
Who is Eligible: Meals will be provided free of cost to any child 18 years of age or younger in our community. No sign up needed.

Will meals be provided to VICC students?
YES! Voluntary Intradistrict Choice Corporation (VICC) Transportation will continue to serve our VICC families.
Board of Education Election is June 2
Five candidates have filed for the three open positions on the Affton School District Board of Education. The candidates, pictured from left to right, in order of filing and as their names will appear on the ballot, are:
