News from the Clinic
Medication Pick-Up
If your student has any medication stored in the clinic, please pick it up by 2:00 on Friday, May 20th. According to School Board policy, medication must be picked up by a parent/guardian before the last day of school. Any medication that hasn’t been picked up by 2:00 on Friday, May 20th will be discarded. Medication cannot be stored in the clinic over the summer.
Thank you!
URGENT REQUEST
We have had a lot of students borrow clothing from the clinic this year and most of the items have not been returned. Our supply of pants and underwear is almost completely depleted. If your child borrowed clothing from the clinic and you still have it at home, please wash the items and have your child bring them to the clinic. Keeping a change of pants and underwear in your child’s backpack is recommended so we have a change of clothes readily available in the event of an accident. Additionally, if you have any pants or packs of underwear that you would like to donate to the clinic, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you so much!
Summer Learning Opportunities
PLSD Families,
We are excited to be able to share with you the multiple opportunities available to students this summer! Students who need additional support in reading, math, or with high school graduation requirements will be invited via Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by their high school principals. Once registration is complete, parents will receive registration confirmation and additional information about your child’s summer program. There are also summer physical education classes and interest based camps available!
Please visit our Summer Learning Opportunities webpage for a complete list of the summer programming options at each grade level.
Transportation will be provided to students who enrolled in Summer Academy and HS Credit Recovery. You will receive transportation information during the registration process and in your confirmation. With the exception of PE for new credit, participation is free. All sessions are face-to-face.
Registration information will be forthcoming, and all summer programming options are contingent upon available personnel and student enrollment. We look forward to a great summer full of fun learning opportunities! Questions? Email summerschool@plsd.us.
