Happy November and welcome to the official newsletter for "The" Cascade HS! We are less than nine weeks before the end of the first semester with lots of activities and opportunities still to come. As we say, Roll Cadets! Fins UP! Fins Forward!

Safe Halloween Trick or Treat Night

On Monday, October 29th, "The" Cascade HS hosted our third annual Safe Trick or Treat night for the Mill Creek Community. Over 400 young Cadets attended. Special thanks to Cascade Middle School, Mill Creek East and West Elementary Schools and the amazing staff and students of "The" Cascade HS for putting on a fantastic event!

Riley Hospital Halloween Costume Contest

"The" Cascade High School continued our year long support of Riley Hospital for Children with our Halloween Costume Contest. Students and staff participated with "humdinger" Championship plates and Free Smiles all day long! Most importantly, over $200 was raised for Riley Hospital!

State Bound

Congratulations to our Cascade Cheerleaders for advancing and competing in the IASP State Cheerleading Championships! Always Compete!

Spell Bowl Team State Bound

Congratulations to our Spell Bowl Team for advancing to the IASP State Championships this month. Cadet Spellers are the reigning Hendricks County Champions and will be going after their 7th State Championship!

National Blue Ribbon Ceremonies

"The" Cascade HS will be headed to Washington DC for the United States Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School ceremony this month. On Friday, November 16th from 2 to 3 pm, we will celebrate locally with an awards celebration at "The" Cascade HS. Parents, Alumni and Community members are invited to attend. Please contact the main office for more information.

National Blue Ribbon Car Decals

To recognize the National Blue Ribbon Award for "The" Cascade High School, commemorative Car Decals will be available for purchase for only $3. These are perfect to recognize the accomplishments of the students, staff, school and community. They can also be used to brag a little with friends and family as "The" Cascade High School is the only Indiana HS to be recognized this year, and the only ever from Hendricks County!
