2023-2024 School Year :: Week of October 2, 2023
A Message from Mrs. Hankins
You may notice that your child is working on writing strategies using the Six Traits of Writing: Ideas, Organization, Voice, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency, and Conventions. Our teachers have been learning more about getting our students to be writers and extend their thinking. Take a peak at some of the great anchor charts and ideas our school is using. I have already seen such growth in our students' writing skills and stamina!
We continue to work and grow and learn as teachers too. Don't forget next Monday, October 9th there is no school because our staff will be getting professional development to help support our children.
Thank you for partnering with us, and letting us all learn and grow together!
Have a great week,
Mrs. Hankins
