Hello Parents!

Welcome to first grade with Ms. Davis! I will communicating you via memberhub, e-mail, and smore for classroom news. If you know of any parents or guardians who are not on my e-mail list please let me know! We had a great first day of first grade yesterday! Check out our class photo!

STAR Binders

Students should have brought home their STAR binder yesterday. It is their responsibility to bring it to class, turn in any homework, notes, or money, put it on it's designated shelf, and bring it home daily. At this time your child's STAR binder should include; a parent reading strategy worksheet, an updated class schedule, a JYJ folder where I will put important info, a pencil pouch to place notes and money in, and their agenda.

Students will write one cool thing they did or learned for the day in their agenda every afternoon. Please check agendas daily to see what your child did and talk with them about their school day.

Today students received a brown paper bag activity. They may pick 5 small items that represent who they are and bring it in to share to the class by Friday, September 2nd. Please write your child's name on the bag.
