Principal e-Note
Long Elementary School
Back To School Party
Please note the building will not be open during the party. The closest restroom will be at Crestwood Park.
Meet The Teacher Grades 1-5
We know our students are excited to meet their teachers and bring all those school supplies to their classrooms!
Just a reminder, we ask you please sign up for a time on this sign up genius. Having three time slots limits crowds, parking issues, and most importantly give you and your child a more relaxed experience with your teacher.
Our school supply lists can be found here.
Kindergarten Meet The Teacher
Kindergarten meet the teacher will be on Thursday, August 17th from 5:00-5:45.
Our Kindergarten team has sent home Kindergarten Orientation Information. If you did not receive the video please let us know. If you did not get an email from your Kindergarten teacher please reach out or check your spam.Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
School Hours are 8:45-3:35
Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
Arrival:
Doors will open at 8:35. Students will be entering the building through the main entrance. They may stop and get breakfast in the cafeteria.
All children who are late to school after 8:45 a.m. will need to sign in at the office.
Morning Drop Off:
Long staff members will begin arrival at 8:35. Students arriving to school before 8:35 will not have adult supervision outside.
In the morning, caregivers will drop off and students will enter the building by using the main entrances indicated on the image below. We ask that caregivers do not get out of the car in the pick-up line. We will have adults direct students on the crosswalk. If you need to walk your child to the front doors please park and do not go through the drop off line.
Afternoon Pick-Up:
Car Riders:
We ask that all caregivers download the PikMyKid app, see information below. This app allows you to check in and adds your child's name to our list. We also have a staff member outside to assist in this checking in process. Caregivers that pick-up will enter through the parking lot's main entrance and form two lines. If your student is a pick-up they will wait in the gym until their name is called. Caregivers do not get out of the car. We will have staff members walk your children out and to the cars after the car line stops moving.
*This process is slower the first few days as our youngest students learn the routine
Walkers will be dismissed out the front doors.
Bus riders will be walked to the bus by a teacher.

Infinite Campus Information
2023-24 Annual Verification of Student Information
Completing your student's required paperwork through the Annual Verification process each summer helps us prepare for a successful start to the school year.
Each year, our district requires Annual Verification of information to be completed for all new and returning students. This helps us guarantee bus transportation, confirm contact information, assign teachers and create student schedules, learn about your student's health needs, and make sure meal accounts are set up and ready to go.
We appreciate your patience as we transition to our new student information system, Infinite Campus. Infinite Campus is replacing the SIS Portal that has been used in previous years, and we are working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready for the new school year.
If you have received your link and have been able to register, please complete the Annual Verification process on the Infinite Campus Portal.
If you have not received a link or your registration is not allowing you access, please email ICSupport@lindberghschools.ws
We ask for your patience as we work to respond to each email as quickly as possible.
How to Access Infinite Campus
To access Infinite Campus, parents and guardians must first create a new user account. This can be done by clicking the link in the Infinite Campus email that is automatically being sent to families each week. It is essential to follow the step-by-step directions in this auto-generated email, in order to ensure access to the verification process.
Helpful tips for creating an account in Infinite Campus:
Use Google Chrome.
Do not exit the Infinite Campus portal until your account security has been verified. Account security can happen in two ways after you create your username and password:
Go to your email inbox and click the auto-generated link to verify, OR
In Infinite Campus, select the person icon, then click " settings," "account settings," and "account security email" to enter your email address.
