God tells Abraham to leave his homeland and he gave a promise of nationhood and blessing. When Abraham reaches the land of Canaan, God inherits it to him. He was married to Sarah and had two children.

When and Where

He was born in 1996 BC and died in 1821 BC in Hebron, Palestine.He lived in Ur (city of Mesopotamia) and later moved to Canaan.


He is important to history because the three largest monotheistic religions were founded by him. They say that Abraham is the father of their religion.
