Welcome Back!
Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our Back to School Night. A big thank you to the SLS Staff for planning the cook out, as well as the School Commission for cooking and serving the food.
Reminder
Just a quick reminder. As I said at Back to School Night, if you are happy with St. Louis, please tell others. You all are our best salesmen. On the other hand, if you see a problem, please tell me. I want to know. I can’t always fix everything, but I will sure try.

Archery Club at SLS
An Archery club will start here at SLS this year. If you are interested you will need to sign up. This club will meet once a week for an hour and a half and twice a week closer to competition time. You don't have to have your own bow, as we have our own that you may use. If you have questions about the club/team please ask Miss Trenkamp at etrenkamp@st.louisschool.org or at school.
Sign up sheets are hung in each 3-5 classroom along with one on each floor of Jr. High.
Thank you,
Miss Erin Trenkamp

Cardinal Sightings--Cardinal in Rome
We think this may just be the furthest spot our Cardinal traveled this summer--if not the furthest, it was still quite a trip!
Augie Hillenbrand & Jack Freeland traveled to Italy with their families and each took their Cardinal to various places. Rome is the furthest spot they traveled from home.
Library News--Birthday Books
Dear Students and Parents,
We want to take a moment and thank all of you that participated in the “Birthday Books” program over the past Nine years. With your participation in this program we have been able to add new books to both the pre-school library and to the school library, as well as purchase additional resource books. Your generous donation has added to the reading enjoyment of students for years to come. We ask that you please continue to support the school library through this program. The deadline for turning in this year’s Birthday Book registration form is September 4, 2018.
Thank you,
