DAWN & REGINA PRESENT AT COMMON GROUND CONFERENCE

Thank you Dawn and Regina for making SRES accomplishments shine at the Common Ground Conference in Ocean City, MD last week. Dawn and Regina were awarded a $500 grant from Maryland Society for Educational Technology to purchase technology to bring our school announcements full STEAM ahead! Thank you for representing us so well—we are so proud of your work!

NATIONAL PHYSICAL EDUCATION & SPORT WEEK

May 1-7 is National Physical Education and Sport Week and the Frederick County Board of Education has declared the entire month of May to be “Physical Fitness and Sport Month.”


A special thanks to Jim Kinsey & Grace Thomas for all that you do for our students; both during the school day as well as all of the extracurricular activities that you support & promote with your time.

SRES END OF YEAR PARTY @ THE GETZANDANNER FARM

PARCC SCHEDULES & NEW INFO.

PARCC Census testing at SRES will occur Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6. Make-up testing is anticipated to occur the following week.


Chris be collecting the chrome books from classes that will be testing in the computer lab. These will be redistributed to classrooms that will be completing the assessment in their homeroom. For those teachers giving the assessment in their rooms, please encourage your students to bring in personal ear buds / headphones for use during the ELA portion of the assessment. The school has headphones to supply students, however, students are permitted to use their own.
