Leadership Symposium
Friday, March 6, 2020

Audience: Students (any)
The Leadership Symposium is a one-day leadership experience for all students at Worcester State. Beginning with keynote speaker Michael Miller, students will be able to choose from a variety of leadership-focused workshops facilitated by Worcester State staff and faculty members. Students will also have the opportunity to sign up for one-to-one leadership coaching. Following the workshops, students, workshop facilitators, and alumni will be invited to participate in a networking session. Workshop descriptions are now available on the Symposium website.
Light refreshments will be provided throughout the event, and heavy apps will be provided during the networking session.

The Leadership Symposium is sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership Development, Student Affairs, and the Alumni Association Advisory Board.

Orientation Leader Applications
Applications for summer 2020 Orientation Leaders are NOW OPEN!
Becoming an Orientation Leader is a great opportunity to learn more about your personal leadership style and working as a team, as well as a time to meet many new people. Spend the month of June working with the Orientation staff to welcome to class of 2024!
Past Orientation Leaders include Kate, Herman, and Maribel, all who you can read about on our Faces of Leadership blog!
Orientation Leaders are paid $1700 for the month of June and are provided housing and some meals during training and the Orientation programs.

Presidential Student Ambassadors
Interested in getting involved with Worcester State University -- on- and off-campus? Now is your chance!
The President's Office is currently accepting applications from students who wish to become a Presidential Student Ambassador (PSA). PSAs are a group of students sanctioned by the President’s Office to knowledgeably promote the positive image of Worcester State University through leadership and interpersonal relations. If chosen for this role, you will have the unique opportunity to represent President Maloney both on-campus and in the community (possibly even internationally), at a wide variety of events with distinguished alumni, donors, elected officials, and prospective students -- among others.
