Principal's Message
Dear Mata family,
I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to bring you the latest edition of our school newsletter. In this Mata Memo, we have packed a plethora of information and exciting events that will surely pique your interest. First and foremost, we are thrilled to share details about our upcoming PTA sponsored, "Walk and Roll from School Day." It's an event that not only promotes physical activity but also an opportunity for students, parents, and staff to come together in support of a healthier and greener future.
Additionally, we are eagerly gearing up for our highly anticipated "Book Fair." This event promises to be a literary adventure for all ages, offering an extensive selection of books to ignite the love of reading in our students. We encourage you to mark your calendars this week and join us in fostering a love of reading in your child.
Lastly, we are pleased to announce a special event this Friday, the "Dyslexia Parent Meeting." We recognize the importance of providing support and resources for families with students who have dyslexia. This meeting will be an opportunity to learn about the most recent updates regarding dyslexia from our dyslexia department.
We are dedicated to maintaining an open line of communication with our school community, and this newsletter is just one of the ways we strive to achieve this. Stay tuned for updates on these events and much more below.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community.
Warm regards,
Tomeka Middleton-Williams, Principal
