HEB ISD Family Engagement Update

September 2022

Welcome to the 22-23 School Year!

Welcome back to school, fabulous families of HEB ISD! Our motto this year is "HEB ISD-Stronger Together!" Truer words have never been said. The last few years have presented us with many unexpected twists and turns. However, we have not only survived, but we are better for it. We have grown stronger together, and we will work hard to become even stronger as we begin this new and exciting school year. Whether you are just getting started with your prekindergarten and kindergarten students, encouraging your Seniors to finish strong, or are somewhere in between, please know that we are all in this together. No matter where your students are in their educational journey, the HEB ISD Family Engagement Department is here to support you and remind you all that we always have been, still are, and always will be STRONGER TOGETHER. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is some way that we might be able to assist you! It has been proven over and over again that students grow and excel when communities, schools, students, and families all work together as partners. Together, we are "Stronger Together!"

This is why months like these are essential to highlight the importance of attendance to children of all ages. Yes, although you are never promised tomorrow, you should have years to enjoy your life. However, if you mess up school, it will have an impact on the job you land and your quality of life. So emphasize to your kiddos, "Be Cool - Stay in School!
