SCHOOL BOARD CATHOLIC IDENTITY COMMITTEE
The Catholic Identity Committee and Queen of Angels Staff are developing new ideas, on how we can express our beautiful Catholic religion in class and out of class. Here are a few ways…….
This year, Queen of Angels is excited to provide students K-8th grade once a week an additional class called,” Catholic Identity” in addition to Religion class. In this class, Mrs. Meyer is utilizing ideas from Father Zak, for a variety of plans for the students such as adoration, reading scripture, praying the rosary and so much more.
Queen of Angels' staff has decorated a board in the main hallway of the school to highlight “Pro- life” this month for the students to see.
Queen of Angels is excited to have the opportunity to have the 8th graders visit the Divine Mercy Funeral Home on All Souls’ Day, which is November 2. They will be having Mass and will be given a tour of the cemetery that day.
Coming soon – “Our Lady of Fatima”, statue will be shared with Queen of Angels school families and parishioners to enjoy and most of all pray the rosary with your families. Please see the letter explaining this sign-up using “Sign Up Genius”, that everyone will sign up and pick a time and week they would like to keep her at their home for that week.
