Tony's early racing career
Tony got his own go-kart from his father at age seven. When tony was a teen he started to slack at school and he at home. He wasn't doing his chores so his dad sold his go-kart. Tony's exact words were " I never thought he really would have sold my kart I never wanted to see that thing go down the street in the back of someone's pickup. Later he started to race in professional go-kart leguaes. Then he moved up to jump cars. Then he moved all the way up to NASCARS. He had some wins and losses. He is also known for winning the Daytona 500. He stopped racing in 2005. Tony Stewart was a talented race car driver.
Racing GO-KARTS
Tony started with small go-karts.Then when he was a teen he started to race in the big time go-kart leagues. Tony's go-kart number was 67. Tony was good at racing and he was asked to drive in NASCAR races.
Racing In The Big Time
Tony started to race in NASCAR in 1999. His car number was fourteen. He was known for racing in the Daytona 500. He placed 2nd in the race. Tony was really good at racing but he quit in 2005.
