Note from Lisa Kinworthy:
~~~~~~
The decision was made that percussion WILL be attending the Southern Illinois University Marching Percussion Festival at SIUE on Saturday, Aug. 25.
Chaperones Needed:
We need 6 official Chaperones and 2 truck drivers. The Chaperones and truck drivers will be riding the bus/truck.
Chaperones will be assisting with taking attendance, loading/unloading the truck, helping move equipment on the field and just lending a hand when needed.
If you wish to Chaperone/Truck driver for the day, please sign up here http://signup.com/go/nOPOpaN
All are welcome:
All all welcome to join us on the bus and truck if you would like. Otherwise we look forward to having you in the stand to cheer us on. Please wear your PSH Band Polo and Khaki shorts. If you do not yet have a band polo yet that is OK, a red, white or blue shirt will be fine.
Schedule:
- Saturday morning we will load the trucks @ 8:00am
- We are scheduled to perform at 1:30 pm
- Estimated return time at 5:00pm
We will be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, however, you will want to bring some money for a meal as there are concessions. Right now the forecast looks to be warm and sunny.
We look forward to our first festival and please let me know if you have any questions!
Lisa
