Stay Connected & Informed
Alief ISD Special Education Department ~ November 2020
Dear Parents,
The return to school this semester has been overwhelming, at best. While some of our students are now participating through in-person learning at their campus, others have chosen to continue with online learning. Parents, students, teachers, and even administrators are all experiencing successes and challenges with this new way of "doing school". It is important to remember that we are all learning and growing together.
Our goal is to partner with you in the education of your child. In this newsletter, we wanted to provide you with resources and training opportunities to help you better understand and advocate for your child in school and out in our community.
Please know you can reach out to the special education department either at your campus or here in administration, anytime. We are all here to support our families and students. These are strange times but together we can make the best of this school year and keep our students learning and growing.
Wishing you a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Nicole Roberts
Director of Special Education
