September Parent/Guardian Workshop
Talking with Your Child About Diversity and Identity
Workshop Description
Please join the CVUSD BreakThrough Student Assistance Program and the Conejo Schools Foundation for "Talking with Your Child About Diversity and Identity" presented by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Thursday, September 30 from 5:30-6:30 PM.
ADL Education's programs engage participants in examining individual and group identities, interpreting our differences, challenging bias and championing justice to create a more equitable society.
In this 2-part webinar, parents and guardians will explore how to talk to their children about difficult topics such as identity and diversity. They will gain resources and helpful hints to manage these conversations and to make everyday connections to these topics.
The next ADL workshop will take place in January 2022
