Gearshifting Girls
Build a Bike Club
What is it?
Today, thanks in large part to donations made by local businesses and groups like Colonel De, The Fort Thomas Board of Education and Reser's Bike Shop, we have the opportunity to offer fifteen 7th and 8th grade girls the chance to develop mechanical engineering skills and engage in STEM practices through breaking down and re-building their own bike.
At the end of the 10 week program, girls will have the choice to keep or donate the bike they build.
When: Thursdays 3:30-5:30
Dates: February 14- May 2
Where: Launch at 20 Grand Ave, Fort Thomas
Apply here to be part of the program (space is limited).
