New On-Campus WiFi for Students & Visitors
There is a new WVUSD WiFi network to which students and visitors can connect that DOES NOT require a username and password to join. It is WVUSD_BYOD. BYOD is short for “Bring Your Own Device.” It is similar to joining WiFi when you are at Starbucks or at a hotel. This network has been set up in preparation for more students bringing personal devices to school. Feel free to share this information with students and visiting guests.

Gear up for Graduation - IMPORTANT DETAILS
- May 14 from 1:10-2:30 in the upper quad
- During tutorial, Seniors have the opportunity to purchase everything they still may need for graduation.
- Graduation tickets are available to purchase. Each senior may buy up to two tickets per graduation for $15 Each. Students will receive 3 free tickets at the mandatory practice on May 26th at 8am.
- Cap Gown and Tassel $40
- Cap Only $10
- Tassel Only $10
- Patches $10-$20 (depending on the patch needed)
- Master of Athletics Cord $12
- Perfect Attendance Cord $12

Prom Experience - Enchanted Garden!
USB is proud and excited to be able to host “An Enchanted Garden Party” on the evening of May 15 in the DBHS Amphitheater from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
Students are encouraged to dress to impress! We will have various activities, photo opportunities and reveal our Prom Court at this event!
Tickets on sale now! Tickets may be purchased on the DBHS Webstore or in person in the USB room during tutorial (1:00 – 2:30pm). In-person purchases will be cash only.

If you would like a “CONGRATS” message on the DBHS marquee for your special Grad be sure to fill out an order form (available in the front office).
This message will be $25 cash. You will be able to choose the week it will run. This makes a great photo opportunity!

Juniors, Mark your calendars for the California Science Test (CAST).

The California Science Test (CAST) is an online assessment based on the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) . All local educational agencies (LEAs) with eligible students in grades five and eight and in high school may administer the CAST operational test.

DBHS Skills USA - State Winners!
Special thanks to DBHS Teacher, Ms. An Tran for leading our Skills USA students to the State Finals and bringing home first place awards! This is the first time in DBHS history that our students have won at the State level in Skills USA.
Congratulations to the following students:
- Allison Yuh (Grade 10) won 1st place at both the Regional and State level. This is the highest level in the country for Introductory Drafting B.
- Natalie Nyaung (Grade 10) and Katherine Wang (Grade 10) won 1st place in Additive Manufacturing. They will move on to National Skills USA and compete on June 14, 2021.
