PTO DINING NIGHT AT CULVER'S
TUESDAY, JANUARY 21 @ CULVER'S
4PM - 7PM OLSON STAFF SERVING
Please join us for dinner at Culver's! This is a fundraising opportunity for Olson, sponsored by our PTO. Olson staff will be there to "serve" families. We encourage you to drive through or dine in... and let them know you are there to support Olson!
We receive a portion of the sales from 10am - 10pm if you tell them that you are with Olson. We will have staff serving during the dinner hours, from 4pm to 7pm.
Figurative language is when you use a word or phrase that does not have its normal everyday, literal meaning. ... There are a few different ways to use figurative language, including metaphors, similes, personification and hyperbole.
COUGH DROPS AT SCHOOL
During the school day, cough drops can only be used in the Nurse's Office, as they are a potential choking hazard.
If is necessary for your child to have cough drops at school, please send the cough drops to the Nurse's Office in a labeled bag, and include a note indicating that you give permission for your student to have cough drops at school. Thanks so much!
DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE A LIBRARY CARD?
Students in D200 who are 5 years of age or older are eligible for a library card. Children 13 and younger must have a parent's signature on the registration form. Please stop in the library or call from more information. Library cards allow up to 50 items to be checked out and reciprocal use of other Illinois libraries. The library also offers a variety of free programs for students and their families.
