SWIMMERS BRING HOME INDIVIDUAL STATE MEDALS
WOLVES ADVANCE TO STATE SEMIS
The Wolves defeated the Pinnacle Pioneers 77-52 on Friday night to advance to the Division I State Semi-Finals. CHS will take on Red Mountain High School this Friday at 7:00pm at Hamilton High. Tickets are available at www.tikatap.com for $5 students, $10 adults. Let’s see a sea of blue across campus on Friday and continue that spirit at the game! Go Wolves!

CONGRESSIONAL NOMINATION
Chandler High Senior Griffin Kannberg, JROTC Honor Guard Commander, received a congressional nomination to all four military academies! Griffin's nomination keeps Chandler High’s three-year string of academy-bound cadets going.
THIS WEEK’S EVENTS
- Wednesday, November 15th: FAFSA Lab from 4:00-7:00pm in the Jones Student Union; Modazz, Advanced, and Improv Dance Concert- “Resonance”- Doors open at 6:30pm with a foyer performance, and the first dance starts on stage at 7:00pm. Tickets are $5. See you there!
- Friday, November 17th: CHS vs. RMHS in the State Football Semi-Finals @ 7:00pm @ Hamilton High School
- Saturday, November 18th: The Wolf-Pack Marching Band, ranked 4th in the state for Division II, will compete in the Arizona Band and Orchestra Directors Association (ABODA) Marching Band State Finals. The top eight bands from each division were invited to perform at Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Stadium. The CHS Wolf-Pack Marching Band has been performing strongly in the areas of music and visual performance this season and intend on scoring high marks for Dark Side of the Moon. They perform at 4:15pm, and awards will be given at 5:45pm. Cost: $15. Good luck!
STUCO PARTNERS WITH SAN MARCOS AMBASSADORS
CHS Student Council visited San Marcos Elementary to partner with their Student Ambassadors program, student leaders trained to help new students get plugged into a new school. The SME Ambassadors gave CHS Student Council members tours of their campus and then received feedback about their "tour guide" skills.
CHS HIKING CLUB
The CHS Hiking Club spent part of its 3-day weekend hiking 18 miles in the Grand Canyon. Mrs. Carol Gould sponsors the club and led the 22 students on the hike.
ROBOTICS FUNDRAISER
HIGHER EDUCATION FAIR
Last Wednesday, CHS hosted a Higher Education Fair sponsored by Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema during both lunches in the courtyard. Representatives from all of Arizona’s public universities, Chandler Gilbert Community College, as well as other organizations were here to answer students’ questions and help with college goals.

SENIORS: Wondering how to fill out the FAFSA? Come to our FAFSA LAB on Wednesday, November 15th from 4:00-7:00pm in the Jones Student Union. Please sign up for a time slot by going to the CHS webpage under announcements as you were shown in your English class. Don't delay; file FAFSA soon!
COLLEGE PRESENTATIONS
All college visits will take place in the CHS College & Career Center, unless otherwise specified. Students should sign up outside of the College & Career Center to attend a presentation. They will receive a pass in class on the day of the presentation.

CARE CENTER THANKSGIVING donations needed
Each year our student organizations join in a campus-wide effort to collect needed items for the Chandler CARE Center’s Thanksgiving Family Assistance Day. Community donations of canned goods, boxed goods and toiletries can be received in the front office between now and Wednesday, November 15th. Thank you for your support!
