Roman News December 2020
From the Principal's Desk...
Can you believe it is already December? The holiday season always brings peace and happiness to me and my family. After this long year of 2020 and every single thing being dictated by COVID, I am hoping that the magic of the season helps with healing and bringing more happiness.
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. I love building memories with my family and cherishing time together. We have several holiday traditions as a family. Some of my favorite traditions as a family is baking Christmas cookies, going to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo's Fantasy of Lights and just simply being with family. What are your family's favorite traditions?
Whether you are looking forward to old traditions or starting new ones with your family this year, I wish your family a healthy, safe, and wonderful holiday season!

When your students are in or out of class, there are plenty of ways to keep them connected to learning materials through the Kendallville Public Library. The TumbleBook Library and eSebco non-fiction children's books are available on the library's website at www.kendallvillelibrary.org, and on the library's Mobile KPL app, free for iOS and Android devices. Teachables is available there as well...it's a new resource from Scholastic that has tons of printable materials for students of all ages, to help them learn and have fun. Hoopla and Overdrive are also excellent ways to access ebooks, audiobooks, music and even movies. Email Beth Munk at bmunk@kendallvillelibrary.org if you need help!
Door Step Delivery Service
The library also offers Doorstep Delivery service to students who live within its service district. Parents can call us at 343-2010 to request items, and a staff member will deliver them to the student's front porch whether you're quarantined, an online learner, or just don't want to leave the house, we'll bring items right to your door!
