Meet and Eat
Student looking for something to do during lunchtime enjoy the opportunity to make new friends and hang out with staff members during our weekly "Meet and Eat" event. Last week, students played "Blooket". Please see the calendar dates below if your student is interested in participating. To attend, students simply need to get a pass from Ms. Hadden during recess.

Science donations needed
7th science is looking for empty/cleaned water or sport drink individual bottles. These bottles will be used in a chemical reactions experiment. Donations must be a clear color plastic and with a cap. If you are able to donate, please bring bottles to B3 anytime between September 6-16th. Thank you.
Spreading the knowledge of digital citizenship
Students in our STEM classes visited advisory classes on August 31 to teach their classmates about digital citizenship topics such as:
- How algorithms work
- What is a filter bubble?
- Media balance
- Are we addicted to media?
Not only did these students educate their peers on timely and relevant ideas and help them be more responsible consumers of media, they practiced their leadership and public speaking skills. Check out their work below, and mahalo to our STEM presenters!
Caught "doing good"
Congratulations to the following students who have been spontaneously "caught doing good" at school. Staff are always on the lookout for students displaying good citizenship skills and kindness, and students who receive a sticker for their behavior are able to enter their name in a drawing for a weekly prize. Science Fair Projects
AMS students are starting to share their Science fair ideas in Science class. A classroom fair will be held in November and a parent/community fair will be held in December. Ask your students about their ideas!
