Our annual Santa Shop will begin tomorrow, December 1st and run until Wednesday December 7th. Students are welcome to bring money and shop for their friends, family and pets. Prices for items range from 50 cents to $10.00. Students will visit Santa Shop during their PE break. This is one event that our students really enjoy!

Our Santa Snack will be held on Friday, December 9th. The students will have a snack of pizza, Caprisun, and a candy cane along with a visit from Santa himself. The cost of this event will be $8.00. All money and forms will need to be turned on later than Wednesday, December 7th.

Our students will begin to collect items for the Blount County Animal Adoption Center. This is a great opportunity to participate in community service. On the 14th, the Center will pick up items and bring a few furry friends to visit with the students of Cleveland Elementary School. The Center is asking for the following items to help:

• Purina Puppy Chow Food
• Purina Kitten Chow Food
• Dog food (any brand)
• Cat food (any brand)
• Dog and Cat toys
• Cat Litter
• Cat Nip/Scratch Boards
• Stainless Steel water buckets
• Rags, towels and small blankets
• Clorox or Lysol wipes
• Laundry Detergent
• Paper Towels
• Dawn Dish Soap

• 12/16: Class Parties (Ask your teacher for specific time, none will begin before 9:30)
• 12/19-1/4: Christmas Break
• 1/6: Report cards come home
• 1/16: School closed for students
• 1/27: Secret Readers (ask your teacher about becoming one)
