IXL TOURNAMENT UPDATE
Last month we told you about the district competition between the elementary schools. Our Sunset students have been working so hard and it has paid off.
SUNSET IS IN THE FINALS!!!
Our competition was much more intense for the month of December and January and is even tougher now that we are in the finals! Parents, we are counting on you to help us get to the finals!
We are asking for 20 minutes each day on IXL. It's such a short amount of time AND it is a great learning program to support your child in Reading and Math skills!
We set a school goal when we began this contest that we would answer ONE MILLION questions and I am so proud to say THAT WE HAVE SURPASSED THAT GOAL!!!!!!
I have no doubt in my mind that we are well on our way to winning this contest. We have the best students in Edmond!
New goal = 1,500,00 questions answered by February 26th!
We will celebrate with a Glow Dance Party once we reach this goal!! We are almost there!!!
Thank you parents for all your encouragement at home.
Let's work together and WIN!!!

iCode Workshop and Scholarship Program
Leslie Kearns is the Director at iCode School. They are located in Edmond, OK, where they primarily serve as an after school program for K-12 students. They offer computer science and technology enrichment programs to students using their unique Signature Belt Program.
Students have the opportunity to gain enrichment in important academic and career-based skills, such as team building, problem solving, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Their STEAM- focused classes inspire lifelong learning to students as well.
They offer a scholarship program to those students who may not have the means to attend the iCode and participate in their Belt program. This is an opportunity to be awarded an amazing curriculum at no cost to you. If you have any questions please reach out to Leslie Kearns through her email at leslie.kearns@icodeschool.com.
