Message from the Principal Donna Burke
Report cards will be sent home tomorrow - Friday, Oct. 21st. As I said in the ENEWS last week, some students will be very happy with their grades and others will want to set some goals to do better during the 2nd nine weeks. If a student needs help, then they have many opportunities to receive help. We have opportunities for ETA (Extra Time & Assistance) before school from 7:30-8:15 am and after school on Fridays from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm. In addition, the library is open before school from 7:30-8:15 for a quiet place to study and some teachers offer extra help before, during, and after school.
The beginning of the 2nd nine weeks offers a "clean slate" for academics and behavior. Students now know all of our expectations and have an opportunity to succeed in every area at Bumpus. We look forward to a fantastic 2nd nine weeks!
