A Note from the Principal

Dear Parents,

As you can see below, October is a very busy month for us here at school. October is designated as the Month of the Rosary. Beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 1, the entire school will be reciting one decade of the rosary (10 Hail Marys) in the classroom, rather than praying a daily prayer in the yard each morning. In addition, every child will receive his/her own rosary beads that they will keep here at school and use each morning. The rosary is a special set of prayers that our Blessed Mother asked all of us to say frequently. Our sixth graders are preparing our Rosary Prayer Service, which will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 10:00. Please join us for this Prayer Service.

October is also the time when we hold our 5K Walk and our Parish Festival takes place. Both of these events allow so many parents opportunities to earn volunteer hours. These two events are really fun activities for students and parents. Please check out the Volunteer Sign Up on our homepage to volunteer for one or both of these events.

SAVE THE DATE!!! Our Centennial Gala will be held on February 1, 2021 to celebrate our 100 years of educating students in the Catholic tradition. The venue for this event is the Embassy Suites Hotel in the beautiful Waterfront of Burlingame. There will be a reception on Friday night for those staying at the hotel that night. On Sunday, the celebration will culminate in Mass and Open House starting at 11:00 For tickets and more info., see the Centennial website.
