La Mesa Update

December 12, 2021

Hello La Mesa Families,

We have reached the last week of the semester. While it hasn't been easy, we are grateful for the support of our La Mesa Families as we all work together towards student success.

Grades will be available on the Infinite Campus Portal no later than Monday, December 20th. Please note that La Mesa will be closed during the winter break. Teachers and other staff may not be checking email regularly as everyone will be enjoying the break and time with their families.

We hope you all have a great last week of the semester. Please encourage your child to get all missing work in where allowed as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Michele Krantz, principal

CrisisGo and Student IDs

We cannot stress enough how important it is for students to have their IDs each day and for their Crisis Go to be completed. Students without these things risk being late to class and require us to pull additional adults from supervising inside campus.

As a reminder, students who deface or lose their student ID will need to replace it. They can purchase one at the ASB window for $5 or use their HOWL points on the HOWL store.

Meals for Students Over Winter Break

Meal bundles will be available on Dec 17th from 12 pm-2 pm at Canyon High School, Golden Valley High School, Hart High School, Saugus High School, Valencia High School, and West Ranch High School. Bundles will include an 11-day supply of breakfast and lunch. Details on meal options included in flyer. Please note that meal options are subject to change due to disruptions in food supply chain.

Daily Bulletin

Click on this button each day to access our daily bulletin. Here you will find the information shared with studnets each day. It can also be found on our website.

Counselor Corner

Hello Families! We will be conducting our second i-Ready Diagnostic of the year next week starting December 6th. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned thus far and identify areas of growth. Please remind your scholars to take advantage of the free food offered by the cafeteria to fuel their minds for the test. Click HERE to view an introductory video of our i-Ready program.
