What is a biome?

A biome is an area that has similar climates, animals, and plants.

What is the Tundra?

The Tundra is an extremely cold biome, with little rain and little sun. It can be described as a snowy, but desert-like, biome. The Tundra is found near the Arctic Circle, in places such as Greenland, Russia, Canada, and Alaska. The temperature rarely exceeds 50℉.
