SVDP School

July 2022

Hello SVDP Community,

We hope that all of our families are healthy and safe and enjoying the summer! This is a quick newsletter to keep you informed about what is happening on campus while you are gone. Our welcome back newsletter will be distributed early August and include information regarding the completion of the registration process for the 2022-2023 school year.

Please note that throughout the month of July, we will be operating with minimal staff and limited office hours.

Please call ahead if you need to come by the school.

The painting of the gym is nearly complete. During the month of July, work began on refinishing and repainting the basketball court flooring and the new railings for the bleachers will be installed along with updated light fixtures. STAFFING NEWS

We have made great progress in staffing our school for the 2022-2023, to include an art teacher and instructional support in the classroom. Our advertising for a Spanish teacher has not resulted in a qualified candidate as of this time. There are other diocesan schools also looking for this position, so we have partnered with some of them in hopes of providing full time employment between two schools. We are also in conversation with an independent contract provider regarding their services.

If you have any leads on qualified Spanish teaching candidates, please have them contact administration@svdpsf.com.
