Please join CVUSD's BreakThrough Student Assistance Program and the Conejo Schools Foundation for "Healthy Boundaries and Expectations" virtual Parent/Guardian Workshop on Monday, November 6th from 6:00-7:00 PM presented by Phyllis Fagell, LCPC. This FREE event will provide practical strategies on how to help your child lead a balanced life, keep healthy boundaries, stay motivated, and make strong connections.

COUNSELING PARENT PRESENTATION - NOV. 8TH
Your LCMS School Counseling Team will be hosting a Parent Presentation on Reflective Parenting Wednesday November 8th at 7:00pm on Teams. Peggy Matson, LMFT PsyD a Director of Parent Services at Engage Therapy will be presenting to our families on various ways to be more responsive and less reactive to children. Please feel free to join us for this informative presentation to learn more about reflective parenting techniques.

The science department would appreciate donations of cardboard tubes, such as those from paper towels and Shoe boxes with lids and flat bottom surfaces. Please drop off items to the Front Office. Thank you.
MAGAZINES FOR THE WELLNESS ROOM
Looking to get rid of gently used magazines? The Wellness room is collecting magazines for a school wide art project. Please bring magazines directly to the Wellness room in C5 during lunch or to Ms. Roberts in the Counseling office.
SCHOOL CENTS - EARN 5X POINTS!!
All receipts from shopping at The Oaks Mall dated and submitted to the School Cents website between Sept. 1 - Oct. 31 (midnight) will earn 5X the points per dollar spent!
Receipts submitted after 10/31 will earn five points per dollar spent.
Submit your receipts online or bring to the front office. No receipt too small!
See the difference: $50 in receipts will be worth 1,250 points instead of 250 points.
Each participating school earns $500 to $2,500!
Plus, the school with the most dollars logged each month gets a $200 bonus. Limit one bonus per school. Click HERE to enter receipts.

Los Cerritos Middle School will be hosting Future Leopard Night to all parents on Tuesday, November 14th at 6:00 pm in the gymnasium. The administration, counselors, and teachers are excited to showcase the academic programs, elective opportunities and signature classes, and provide an opportunity for an in depth school tour by our leadership students. We hope this night with provide every parent with an experience that will give you a peak at the positive culture of our campus, our belief in academic excellence and preparation, and our focus on making the transition from elementary to middle school seamless. Each family gets a 15-minute portrait session and 2 edited digital images of your choice with a $50 donation to Los Cerritos MS.
