Big picture

More Celebrations form the One Book Two Book Festival

From Ms. Fishman

Rollerskating has begun for 2nd - 6th graders! You may wish to have your child bring a helmet and/or elbow/knee pads.

After spring break, mileage club will start back up. There will be a sign up genius sent out from the PTO asking for parent volunteers once again to help with mileage club.

Also, after spring break, students must wear tennis shoes to PE.

Please checkout the health.moves.minds handout that you get at your PT conference. This fundraiser will start next week.

The district PE department has adopted a new fundraising initiative. (Remember we used to do Jump Rope for Heart). This new initiative promotes good character, mental, emotional and physical health and almost all the money stays in the district, and specifically in our building.

Parent Input

Each spring we begin a complicated and thoughtful process for creating class lists for the next school year. One aspect of this is allowing parents to give input related to their child's needs. This is NOT about requesting a specific teacher, but rather an opportunity to tell us about your child's needs.

The form for this input will be shared in the parent newsletter after spring break. Input will be accepted until May 1.

Dance for a Difference at Liberty High School

Liberty High School Difference Makers is a club that helps raise money for kids, and their families, battling life threatening illnesses. We have our 3rd annual Dance for a Difference coming up this Sunday, March 1 from 12-6pm. Our event will have dancing, games, food, a silent auction, and family speakers.

Walk in cost is $10.

We want people from all over the community to come to our event. Everyone is welcome!

This will be a very fun event for such a great cause. See you there
