Keep Calm and Donate!
Read around Perry
Don't forget about us!
Spring is here! We wanted to send a reminder to think of us during your spring cleaning! We noticed that our donation shelves have been low this winter and we would love to spruce up our shelves with some new books!
What we like!
If you're having trouble thinking of what books to bring down, we thought we would provide you with a list of some of our favorites. We asked students of all grades at Perry Elementary and here were some that you may have laying around:
- Perry Pre-K loves anything with pop-ups!
- Holiday Books (Easter, St. Patrick's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving etc.)
- Bernstein Bears, Little Critters, Cat in the Hat, Winnie the Pooh
- Judy Moody, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, A Series of Unfortunate Events
- The 39 Clues series, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson
- Junie B. Jones, Fancy Nancy, Magic Tree House
- Don't forget about Nonfiction! We also love books that tell us facts about animals, Egyptians and other ancient cultures, race cars and more!
Please send donated books into school with your child to drop off in Ms. Connolly's room: 230
