We look forward to seeing everyone next week at Parent-Teacher Conferences. The Book Fair will be held in the Library. We appreciate the families that donated food items for our conference dinner and the PTO for providing a meal.

Students who have a substitute teacher and demonstrate superb and helpful behaviors during the day receive a ticket to put in the bucket. On Fridays we pull names from the bucket and those students receive a package of Starburst!! Way to go to our Star Students this week.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES - FEBRUARY 13th, 14th and 15th
Parent - Teacher conferences will be held on Monday, February 13th and Tuesday, February 14th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Conferences will also be held on Wednesday, February 15th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
If you have not had an opportunity to schedule your conference, please call the school office at 402-715-8360 to schedule.

Kindergarten Round Up will be
Friday, May 5, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Parent Informational Meeting will be
Friday May 5, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
If you have a child or know of a child in our neighborhoods who will be 5 years of age on or before July 31, 2023, please contact Mrs. Svoboda in the Neihardt school office at
402-715-8360 or at kasvoboda@mpsomaha.org to make sure he or she is on our list.
If you have an incoming kindergartener or new student entering Millard Public Schools for the 2023-24 school year, please register your student beginning February 1, 2023 at www.mpsomaha.org.
By completing your child's registration as soon as possible you help us place students sooner and communicate with your family in a timely way.

Millard Public Schools is seeking voter approval to continue the levy override authority that has been in place since 2018. By law, voters must approve levy override authority every five years. This is a special election held by mail. Ballots are being sent to all Millard voters in mid-February and must be turned in by March 14th.
Though the Board of Education has never used more than half of the authorized amount, the levy override has brought stability to the district.
