Millard Public Schools is seeking voter approval to continue the levy override authority that has been in place since 2018. By law, voters must approve levy override authority every five years. This is a special election held by mail. Ballots are being sent to all Millard voters in mid-February and must be turned in by March 14th.
Though the Board of Education has never used more than half of the authorized amount, the levy override has brought stability to the district. Without it, reductions will be likely for both people and programs across the district. Learn more about the district’s finances and the levy override here: mpsomaha.org/about/millards-levy-override
