AzMerit/AIMS Testing Completed!
Overall, the administration of the AzMerit and AIMS Science exams was a success. We will continue to complete make-up testing this week for students who were not in attendance during testing days.
We are pleased with student attendance and arriving on time. Most students were engaged in the testing using strategies learned during the year to help them analyze text and write a well organized essay. It was disappointing to see some students submit their test in five minutes of starting. We strive to have 100% of our students understand the importance of the exam.
4th Quarter Progress Ends April 18th
The end is coming faster than we think. April 18th will mark the end of the 4th quarter progress report, which means students only have a short amount of time to demonstrate mastery of their learning. Make sure your child is engaged in their learning and being proactive by communicating with teachers, turning in work on time and any worked missed, and preparing for exams.
School Days Remaining from April 18
9th-11th Grades = 25
Seniors = 20
Honors and AP Course Agreement
Students enrolled in honors and/or AP for the 2018-2019 school year were given an Honor/AP Course Agreement. This needs to be signed by both the student and parent, and turned in to their teacher.
