Miss Williams - Science
Mr. Key - Language Arts
On Monday, May 20, students will take their final test over the Literature Circles book that they have been reading. Students will be allowed to use the book and the study guide that they completed in class on Friday. For Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday students will complete a creative project about "the hero's journey" using the main character of their Literature Circles book.
Mr. Kieffer - Math
All Math classes will have study guides by mid-week for final tests. We will be working on review and testing on the Monday and Tuesday of the last week of school. If students are not going to be here they should make arrangements with me to test early. Thanks

Hello Parents,
This week we took the Unit Seven Exam and started learning about Australia, New Zealand, and Antarctica. It's a very short unit, but still one of my favorites. The classes have been drawing maps and doing map analysis of the region. On Friday, we talked about the challenges facing the Great Barrier Reef.
Next week, we will take a little time and discuss the history of Australia and New Zealand, learn how speak "Aussie," and learn about Antarctica. On Thursday, the students will begin a final culture project for the course. The students have been keeping cultural journals throughout the year as we have learned about different groups of people. They will use Adobe Spark to research and present a culture of their choice from the year of Geography. It's usually quite fun! The project will take us all the way to the final day of class. There will be no final exam.
There were quite a number of missing Unit Seven Study Guides. The students can still turn these in, but time is running out! I should have the grades in for the Unit Seven Exam this weekend. Keep your eyes open for those scores.
Monday - Aussie Slang
Tuesday - AUS/NZ History
Wednesday - Antarctica
Thursday - Final Culture Project
