Principal's Message
Hello Alcova Family!
This week, we celebrated Read Across America. We had fun themes each day and staff recorded themselves reading books and we posted them on online. Please continue to encourage your child to read every night. Reading is critical to their success in school and future. I hope that you have had a fantastic week despite all of the rain. Hopefully we will see some sunshine this weekend! March is already presenting itself as a busy month for learning and growing. It's hard to believe that we have only 3 months left of school! We are on our way! Don't start counting down yet, we still have a lot of goals to accomplish. Third Quarter District Assessments are next week. Please encourage your child to do their best but don't stress. We want to see what they know to continue making instructional decisions. They got this!!!
ALCOVA ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT
We have attached our accountability report to our website, and it is also linked HERE for your convenience to read. It offers all of our information related to our academic growth as compared to the state and district, as well as our accomplishments for the 2018-2019 school year. Thank you for taking some time to learn more about your child's school. We continue to improve and look forward to even greater results this coming year!
