Check out this great Catholic Life Conference Coming Up in March 2020:
WHY ARE YOU CATHOLIC
A DAY FOR EVERYONE
The Catholic Life Conference invites men, women, children, teens, young adults, and seniors, to come together as a church community. This is one big day for everyone. Together we will receive inspiration and food for the journey ahead so that we—each one of us—can say, “This is Why I am Catholic!”
Dr. Scott Hahn will be the keynote speaker.
And then there will be a "breakout" section of the day, so each person attending may choose ONE 'breakout' speaker:
Dr. Hahn and his wife Kimberly will speak TOGETHER (this is a VERY RARE occurrence!).
Or choose Trish Short
Or Hudson Byblow
Or join the kids to enjoy Popple
Who is this conference for?
The Catholic Life Conference is based in the Springfield Diocese of Massachusetts to give Catholics in Western Massachusetts a reminder of the many gifts we have received right here in our own Catholic Churches.
All Catholics of Western Massachusetts are invited—please come! If you are from another diocese or state, you are certainly welcome. If you are over 50, this conference is for you. If you are under 30, this conference is for you. If you are single, this conference is for you. Men, this conference is for you! Women, you too! Teens—we have had you in mind—we think you’ll love it. Families and children—this is a fabulous day for you to experience together. Whoever you are, we want you to come. This is for all of us, all in one day.
Will my teen have fun or will he or she be bored?
We have chosen our speakers with young adults in mind and that includes your teen. We invite teens to participate in the main program, with opportunities that may especially appeal to them:
Can people from outside the Diocese attend?
Absolutely. We want everyone to come! Just register online and invite your friends. We have space for everyone.
Parent Volunteers Needed
- Our uniform closet could use some love. We received several donations of uniforms recently in bags that need to get hung up in the right spot. Can you spare a half hour or more to simple hang some clothing?
- Do you have a great cookie recipe you can share as part of our Cookie Swap next month? Let us know in the office if you are willing to bake and participate in the Christmas Concert and Cookie Swap coming up in December.
- If you plan to drive or chaperone for Winter Sports, please check in with the office to make sure you are all set. This process can take a few weeks. It would be fantastic if we could have everyone ready to roll by early December.
Breakfast is $2.50 and Lunch is $3.75
Check out all of these delicious breakfast and lunch options for the month!
If you would like your child to have breakfast, please make sure they order it the day beforehand. This will allow us time to bake or prepare meals that are ready to go the next day.
After School Meal Program
Attached, please find the After School Meal Program (AMP) menu for the month.
If you are unfamiliar with "AMP" this is a free meal program, sponsored by the state, and available to all students who stay after school for any reason. If your child is staying for aftercare, sports, drama, tutoring etc. they are welcome to order AMP in the morning and eat in the afternoon FOR FREE. Paper copies are available in the office if you would like a menu for home.
