Hillcrest Family Newsletter

November 13th, 2020

How are you?

Just a check in on everyone in our community. We know living during a time of pandemic is challenging - everything requires additional steps, additional precautions. The balance of keeping things safe and keeping things "normal" is exhausting and we have been at this for so long. We want to reach out to let you know we understand and we feel it too. We are here for each other and we are all doing our best. This virus is going to be around for some time and we are all going to work on pacing ourselves. Taking time to take care is the most important action right now.

Last week is the last full week of the trimester. When we come back from our Thanksgiving break we start Trimester 2 and we welcome back a handful of families from virtual. We are looking forward to having more students under our roof and we hope our virtual families continue to stay connected! With the additional students added to classrooms, I want you all to know that we will work to continue to balance class lists to make sure we aren't overcrowding any classroom. We have to be a bit creative to keep class sizes at a number that is reasonable for the size of the classroom. If there is any need to change your child's placement, you will be informed but we hare planning on minimizing that possibility for all.

Stay safe and healthy, everyone.

Report Card Letter

The end of the trimester is less than a month away and report cards will be available online on December 11th. Please take some time to read through THIS DOCUMENT that outlines what you will see on the elementary report card. Reach out if you have any questions!
