Be The Difference We Cause Learning
Mr. Allen's Avenue
Dear Blue Academy Families:
Hello friends! We have had a busy but great two weeks here at Blue Academy. We have so many great things happening and wonderful students and staff to celebrate.
On Thursday and Friday of last week we celebrated our March Students of the Month, and You Make A Difference Teachers of the Month. Please check out the pictures below!
This coming week and next, we will be taking the state mandated iLearn assessment in grades 3-6.
This is an extremely important assessment for our school, district and community. Each night, we will send a Parent Square reminder for grades that are testing the next day. Please make sure your child is getting a good night's sleep and is coming to school each day ready to give their "Blue Academy Best."
I am excited to begin a new section of our newsletter called, Proud Principal Moments. Each newsletter I will share a something I have witnessed from our school that makes me proud! Check it out below!
Finally, we have many end of the year events happening after iLearn. Please make sure to scroll through the newsletter so you can plan accordingly.
Stronger Together!
Mr. Adam C. Allen
Principal, DELC: Blue Academy

Proud Principal Moment
I had the pleasure of reading my favorite book, The Little Blue Truck to Ms. Cress' Kindergarten class this week! In the story, the Little Blue Truck comes to the rescue but ends up getting himself stuck while trying to help the Big Dump Truck out of the mud. Luckily, the friendly farm animals all come to help. They work together to make sure their new friend gets back on the road. We talked about the importance of always being polite, kind to others, and helping our friends. At Blue Academy, we are like a big family and we always have to help each other, just like The Little Blue Truck helped the Big Dump Truck. I was so impressed with our discussion after the book and am so proud of these students! Keep up the great work Ms. Cress!
